Why is Vacation Tycoon being sunset? 

In order to remain compliant with current app store policies, Vacation Tycoon requires substantial updates that we are unable to commit to by the deadline. We have made the decision to close down Vacation Tycoon and focus our resources on our other Hyper Hippo games. 

Why can't I download Vacation Tycoon anymore?  

Vacation Tycoon will be removed from app stores on December 8th, 2025.

When will Vacation Tycoon be officially shut down? 

Vacation Tycoon will no longer be playable as of February 8th, 2026.

Can I still play Vacation Tycoon after it’s removed from app stores?
Yes, if you’ve already downloaded the game, you can keep playing until February 8th, 2026. 

Can I still make purchases in-game? 

Yes. Players can make in-app purchases up to November 15th, 2025. 

Can I get a refund for in-game purchases?

As with most in-app purchases, not all refunds may be possible, but we’ll do our best to help.

Will an offline version be available to play? 

No. There will be no offline version available. 

Can I transfer my items or account to another game?

Not exactly. However, please reach out to our support team directly and we will work with you one-on-one to get you set up in one of our other games such as AdVenture Capitalist. 

Will the community channels (Discord, reddit, etc.) remain open?

Community spaces and game support will remain active until March 8th, 2026.
