Marketing Boosts are a way for you to increase earnings for your resort by watching a quick ad. To use this feature, tap on the x2 laptop icon on the top right of your screen.

In order to activate the boost, tap the Watch Ad button. After the ad has played all the way through you will be returned to the Marketing Boost screen where your timer will fill. You can watch ads to add a total of 12 hours of boost to your game.
